Types of coupon inserts

As we already learned, each week there are inserts in the newspaper's.  There are a few major companies that produce these inserts and they are SmartSource (SS), RedPlum (RP), Proctor & Gamble (PG) and General Mills (GM).  Not each company has inserts every week.  Also it is important to know that not each paper gets every insert.  So if there are a few papers in your area it might be worth your time to pick up one of each at some point and see how they compare!  I did this a few weeks back and was surprised that even the dollar amount of some of the coupons was different.  I get one each of the Lawrence Eagle Tribune and as of this Sunday I will now get the Union Leader as well.  To have both delivered is only $2.49 each week for the first 13 weeks. A huge bargain compared to the shelf price at the local store; The Eagle Tribune is $2.50 and the Union Leader is $2.
